About Holly Thompson

Holly Thompson is a Board Member of Wellspring Health Access and a founding member of the Community Advisory Committee for the Wellspring Clinic in Casper. Holly is a long-time advocate for women’s reproductive rights. She has served on a number of boards and commissions, including the Wyoming Commission for Women (Governor-appointed). Holly is a retired educator (39 years, K-Adult Literacy) that attended the University of Wyoming where she earned her B.A. and M.A. in Reading & Literacy. She is a former classroom teacher, literacy coach for teachers, and instructional facilitator as well as a former Natrona County Education Association president; Wyoming Education Association state vice-president; National Education Association Resolutions Committee. Holly was recognized by the Natrona County School District #1 Board of Trustees with an award for promoting peace and tolerance within the community. Holly has also received the community Jim Reeb Award for promoting peace and tolerance. After retiring from Natrona County School District #1, went to work for Scholastic, Inc.’s Education Division as a Regional Consultant where she traveled throughout the Rocky Mountain West training and coaching teachers.
