Our Mission

Through our commitment, Wellspring Health Access will provide abortion care, general gynecological care, family planning including birth control and Plan B, and Telehealth services to people in the underserved, remote communities in Wyoming and the Mountain West so they can receive much-needed healthcare services.

Our Commitment

Wellspring has a commitment to providing abortion care services, and Wyoming is our first priority because people there are unable to receive surgical abortions today simply because no doctors are performing them.

The only option for someone needing to end their pregnancy is by medication, and this option is extremely restrictive, especially for people who live in rural communities with limited access to healthcare. Many rural areas have limited numbers of healthcare providers, especially for those who live on tribal lands or are undocumented.

Wellspring wants to expand access to healthcare to the thousands of people in Wyoming and the Mountain West. Our first step will be to open our mobile unit in December 2022 and then open our Casper, WY Facility doors in early 2023. Our facility is strategically located so that people in areas where healthcare is inaccessible or limited can easily access our services. People from Wyoming, Nebraska, western South Dakota, and the southeastern corner of Montana will now be able to access healthcare services more easily.
