Christie Burkhart is also a founding Board Member of Wellspring Health Access. Like the other founding Board Members, she previously worked at Trust Women. For four years, Ms. Burkhart was the Chief Compliance Officer and then as the Chief Operations and Compliance Officer. In her previous roles, she ensured that all compliance measures had been taken and met, which are required by accrediting bodies, state and local government agencies. She also oversaw the day-to-day operations of the clinics. Ms. Burkhart’s previous leadership has been in regional management, quality and compliance for retail stores across the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in Human Development and Family Life with a specialty in Early Childhood Education. She is also a Certified Forensic Interviewer. Ms. Burkhart brings the tenacity and dedication needed in today’s hostile abortion access climate.
